NextPharma and Wyeth reach contract manufacturing agreement

NextPharma Technologies Holding has reached an agreement with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals on the terms under which it will contract manufacture methotrexate 5mg lyophilised and parenteral for Wyeth's Benelux and Japanese markets.


NextPharma Technologies Holding has reached an agreement with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals on the terms under which it will contract manufacture methotrexate 5mg lyophilised and parenteral for Wyeth's Benelux and Japanese markets.

NextPharma's wholly owned subsidiary Laboratories Thissen, will provide Wyeth with full services, including sourcing of actives, technology transfer and process implementation. Production is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2005.

The two companies are also discussing primary commercial terms of additional contract manufacturing agreements.
