Niro offers one-stop GMP facility

A new technology centre is due to be opened this month in Bubendorf, Switzerland, by Niro Pharma Systems. The NPS Technology Centre will provide a one-stop GMP environment in which pharmaceutical companies can develop and test solid dosage form products. The ability to evaluate various production technologies at clinical trial and pilot scale will enable pharma companies to reduce time to market for new products by using integrated equipment to test clinical scale production and the validation of processes, Niro says.

The centre is equipped with the company's full range of equipment, including contained material handling, dispensing, powder mixing and blending, granulation, drying, pelletising and tablet pressing and coating. Specialists from Niro Pharma Systems can also offer their process know-how to optimise phases of production, improve procedures and train staff.
