Noveon expands in Latin America

Speciality chemicals producer Noveon, of Cleveland, Ohio, has boosted its position in the Latin American market through the acquisition of Multiquim, a leading supplier and marketer of personal care, pharmaceutical and other products in Mexico. The purchase price was not disclosed.

'Latin America represents an exciting growth opportunity for Noveon,' said Steve Demetriou, president and ceo. 'This acquisition will serve as a foundation to expand Noveon's presence.'
