Online networking site launches area for Pharma executives

An online business networking site for the financial services sector, www.meettheboss.com , has a new section dedicated to the Pharma industry.


An online business networking site for the financial services sector, www.meettheboss.com , has a new section dedicated to the Pharma industry.

The secure platform that the site provided for financial executives allowed them to communicate openly, free from sales pitches and the media and this is now provided to executives in the pharma sector.

According to MeettheBoss.com, the new section has more than 12,000 members from companies such as Pfizer, Novartis and GSK. They can use tools such as IMS, SMS and free video conferencing to connect with their peers and discuss common issues and worries.

No profit is made from the members; there is no charge for use of any of the site and no membership fees. The owners of the site reserve the right to refuse membership.

Spencer Green, chairman of Meettheboss.com's parent company GDS International, said: "Executives are choosing Meettheboss.com because of the direct value it brings to them. The network will be monitored, allowing our executive members freedom to discuss contentious issues in a secure environment."
