Medical device manufacturer Owen Mumford has announced the appointment of Garry Hodges as Group Operations Director.
Hodges will report directly to Jarl Severn, Managing Director. He takes over from Modestino Grazino who is stepping away from the position after nearly eight years.
Commenting on the appointment Jarl Severn said: “We are delighted that Garry is joining the business. Our operations function is central to our continued success within the diagnostic and drug delivery markets.”
“During his tenure, Garry’s predecessor, Modestino made a significant contribution to our business, overseeing a programme of expansion both here in the UK and in Malaysia, as well as upgrading facilities.”
“Following Garry’s appointment, we shall continue our policy to develop state-of-the-art production facilities and we believe his extensive experience of adopting new technology will drive our objective to optimise quality and service levels, and will shape our business strategy going forward. We welcome the contribution that his expertise will bring to our team.”
Garry Hodges joins Owen Mumford from Aesica Pharmaeuticals where he held the position of Corporate Operations Director, leading the Operations Excellence Programme to optimise quality and supply chain performance.
Garry Hodges said: “I am very excited about joining Owen Mumford. I have had a long career in technical and scientific roles and I believe that my operational and management experience will enhance the company’s impressive track record and contribute to its ambitions for the future.”
