Pharmaceutical outsourcing services provider PCI Pharma Services has appointed Jim Neville as Operations Director at its site in Tredegar, UK.
As part of the established Operations Team, Neville takes responsibility for all manufacturing and engineering activities at the site.
With more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Neville has held several senior roles in other pharmaceutical companies, most recently as Site Leader at Pfizer’s biotech organisation and previously at Wyeth Europa on AVP Technical Operations, where he was responsible for new product introduction, technical operations, contract manufacturing and artwork and labelling.
Commenting on the appointment, Norman Barras, Managing Director of the Tredegar, UK site, said Neville brings with him 'robust experience that will be a key asset to our teams and clients during an exciting time of expansion'.
Last month PCI said it had acquired a further 26,500 ft2 (about 2,500 m2) at the Tafarnaubach Industrial Estate in Tredegar to house a number of key departments to support growth, including offices and laboratories for analytical services.
