Pharmexa cancels EGM
Following discussions with the major shareholders, Pharmexa has cancelled the extraordinary general meeting planned for today, December 10, and postponed the election of new board members and the proposed change in the company's articles of association until the annual general meeting in April 2004.
Following discussions with the major shareholders, Pharmexa has cancelled the extraordinary general meeting planned for today, December 10, and postponed the election of new board members and the proposed change in the company's articles of association until the annual general meeting in April 2004.
However, the departure from the board of directors of chairman Claus Braestrup and board member Klaus Bock has gone ahead. Following this, the Board of Directors consists of Jorgen Buus Lassen, Karl Olof Borg (chairman) and Arne Gillin, as well as three employee elected members.
The board of directors will propose the election of two or three new board members at the AGM. Jorgen Buus Lassen, Karl Olof Borg and Arne Gillin are all prepared to accept re-election at that time.
