PPMA returns to NEC, Birmingham

The machinery-only PPMA Show will take place at the NEC, Birmingham on 24-26 September. Some 340 exhibitors will fill halls, 6, 7, 8 and 9, nearly 50 of whom will be participating in the exhibition for the first time.


The machinery-only PPMA Show will take place at the NEC, Birmingham on 24-26 September. Some 340 exhibitors will fill halls, 6, 7, 8 and 9, nearly 50 of whom will be participating in the exhibition for the first time.

The event will cover every stage of the production chain from preparation of ingredients through to end-of-line packaging, materials handling and warehousing, and will also include processing equipment, components and control and instrumentation.

This year marks the beginning of a new era for the PPMA, following the members' decision to join forces with Reed Exhibitions. Every third year, starting in 2004, it will be a major ingredient in the new Total Processing and Packaging Exhibition, which also encompasses Interphex, Eurochem and Pakex.
