AJM Consulting, the UK-based firm that specialises in using IT to improve manufacturing in the process in the process industries, has launched an innovative process data mining and visualisation system.

Designed to allow easy interpretation of a disparate range of process data, the MS2 Data Mining System enables more consistent and efficient production due to its better understanding of process variability, AJM says.

The machine will be offered with a low entry cost and is suitable for any size of company. Companies that have signed up as development partners include Synthomer, A H Marks, Aesic Pharmaceuticals and Technical Absorbents.

"We are very excited to be launching this new system and delighted at its reception by industry," said AJM managing director Alan Mason, who also experessed his gratitude to the Centre for Process Analytics and Control Technology (CPACT) "for their technical assistance" and regional development agency Yorkshire Forward "for funding support."
