Courtoy will show its new Modul D tablet press. An extension of the Modul range, the Modul D features an additional double-sided rotary tablet press and offers nearly three times the output of the Modul S. The unit also includes a capability for manufacture of bi-layer tablets, incorporating bi-layer compression.

Aeromatic-Fielder is showing its latest 16 bar PMA-600 pressure shock resistant high shear mixer and Sirocco 600 fluid bed. The integrated design is based on new safety research by Niro Pharma Systems and FSA, which has shown that secondary deflagration pressures in the high shear mixer can be significantly higher than the primary deflagration pressure in the fluid bed. Also on show will be two patented coating technologies: the Precision Coater, which offers higher yields, short process time and improved coating quality for particle coating; and the new SuperCell tablet coating system, a flexible continuous coating process that enables users to coat as little as 50g of tablets in just one minute.

Collette will show its compact UltimaPro-600 one pot processor intended for applications requiring containment, high yield and multiple product, flexible batch production.
