Pump innovation from Charles Austen

Charles Austen pumps has launched 'a new generation' of cost-effective oil-free laboratory pumps, offering high performance levels and ergonomic design. Delivering flow rates of up to 40 litres/minute and vacuum generation down to 8mBar, Innovac is said to be suitable for a wide range of applications.

The pump's wetted parts are constructed of PTFE, making them chemically resistant to virtually all corrosive gases and solvent vapours. At the heart of Innovac is a 'composite-bond' diaphragm system; it also features a tough alloy case with T-slot rails for quick and easy mounting of attachments, such as vacuum gauges, vapour traps or condensers. Its flush-folding carry handle provides stowage for pump service tools.
