Safer bulk bag unloading from Spiroflow

A bulk bag unloading station incorporating cone valve technology has been launched by Spiroflow, of Clitheroe in the UK. The valve system is said to combine a higher level of discharging sanitation with increased operator safety and easier operation. The operator loads the bag onto the station where it 'docks' into the cone valve device, eliminating the need to untie the bag spout and thereby ensuring product integrity as well as cutting the risk to the operator of contamination. Flow rate is variable for either continuous or batch discharge.
