Schizophrenia drug cleared

Pfizer's oral ziprisadone (Geodon) has been approved by the FDA for the treatment of schizophrenia. The serotonin and dopamine agonist treats the positive and negative symptoms of schizophrenia, including visual and auditory hallucinations, delusions and social withdrawal.
