Selerity turns up the heat for temp control
Temperature Programmed Liquid Chromatography (TPLC) specialist Selerity Technologies will be showcasing total temperature control solutions comprising silica columns, oven and software - instrumentation that has been developed to overcome traditional barriers to successful temperature control.
Since most HPLC chemists prefer the selectivity and higher efficiencies of silica-based columns, Selerity is introducing a new polydentate silica phase, which is stable at temperatures up to 200°C, and features increased pH stability. For existing HPLC users there will be a new standalone preheater, incorporating the same innovative technology as the Polaratherm to overcome thermal mismatch. Selerity's Aquachrom 'Green Machine' high temperature oven with Flame Ionisation Detector (FID), which uses superheated water instead of organic solvents, has also been updated with a new column-to-detector interface.
Selerity will also be presenting a number of papers on the benefits of using temperature control. Key topics will include water-only HPLC separations, silica column phases for high temperature and a number of applications highlighting the benefits of TPLC.
