Sepha's new deblistering machine for CR blisters
Sepha launched its pharmaceutical deblistering machine for semi-automatic recovery of child-resistant and peelable blister packs. With a footprint of only 660x440mm, Sepha has designed the Mini Press-Out Universal to be the smallest, yet most flexible, deblistering machine with 100% guaranteed results for small batches. The deblisterer provides dual flexibility. First, it handles any type of blister pack design, all forms, card-backed or peelable, through to child-resistant blisters made from heavy gauge cold-form blisters. Circular, diagonal or irregular layouts, perforated blisters, or blisters which have curled after sealing pose can be processed by this machine.
Second, the Mini Press-Out Universal has an extra large format for blisters up to 160x140mm, catering for alu/alu or card-backed blisters which tend to be larger than thermoformed packs. Sometimes fragile tablets with break lines or very small or unusually shaped tablets can be difficult to deblister. The novel emptying mechanism of the machine recovers delicate products intact and ensures that every single tablet is removed from the blister. Total recovery rates mean that all recovered product can immediately be repackaged as new.
