Tefen puts QC labs under the microscope in survey

Tefen, a leading consultancy specialising in operational improvement within the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries, is launching a benchmarking survey of QC laboratories.

'The lack of detailed world-class benchmarking against which to measure current performance leaves many QC managers struggling to identify where and by how much to improve,' said Jocelyn Townley, md Tefen, Europe.

To enable labs to overcome this problem, Tefen is launching this survey to establish best practice levels within the industry. The study will focus on 15 conditions, including overall lab effectiveness, analyst utilisation, analyst efficiency, cycle time, on-time delivery and costs. To date the survey has attracted major blue chip corporations, as well as single-site contract laboratories. Tefen are inviting further companies of any size to take part. Further details including an information pack are available by request at info@tefen.co.uk
