Thermo highlights leadership in asset management

Thermo Electron Corporation will be promoting its leadership in laboratory services, exhibiting a wide range of instrumentation and software, and showcasing its full range of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and integrated chromatography data systems (CDS). These will include award-winning commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) LIMS solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.

Asset management programs by Thermo are designed to provide tailored solutions to optimise lab performance and reduce costs, covering a wide variety of instruments and manufacturers. Additional savings and increased productivity are achieved by replacing numerous individual vendor contracts with a single contract, and as well as gaining control over their assets, customers appreciate the program's flexibility in enabling them to choose their preferred service provider for maintenance services.

Thermo also provides preventive and corrective maintenance; instrument qualification; and regulatory and laboratory consulting services across a full spectrum of manufacturers' instruments and software.
