Thermo makes its lab

A wide range of labs will be able to afford FT-IR spectroscopy for the first time it is claimed, thanks to the introduction of the IR300 spectrometer from Thermo Mattson. The IR300 offers a complete package for users looking for ease of use and dependability in their FT-IR spectrometer, says the company.

The design of the IR300 is based on Thermo Mattson's proven Corner Cube interferometer and uses field-tests components to ensure a reliable system. EZ OMNIC software controls the spectrometer with an intuitive interface for routine operations. It comes complete with data collection and storage, customised menus and toolbars, data process functions, library creation, searching and more.
