Transmitter seals take the heat

The new remote pressure transmitter seals from ABB Automation eliminate the need for costly, exotic materials when applied to corrosive, high-temperature, high vacuum processes.

The S6 range of 600T EN seals have a tough, corrosion-resistant Teflon PFA film, which is hot-deposited onto a stainless steel diaphragm using a glue-free, chemical bonding process. This means the seal can cope with most corrosive process media and will give reliable performance in high working temperatures up to 250°C and close to full vacuum working pressures.

The seals are for processes using highly corrosive media.
