Twin-screw laboratory extruder ensures accurate replication

APV Baker has launched a new generation of laboratory-scale twin-screw extruders to replicate industrial applications, including pharmaceutical operations. The introduction of servo-drive improves both torque and control characteristics, and a hand-held touch-screen terminal gives immediate response. An increased screw speed capability of up to 1000rpm ensures exact replication of laboratory work to the industrial scale.
