Two into one will go

UK company Electro-mec (Reading) will be demonstrating its ability to feed different products simultaneously into one blisterpack. Two EMF Feeders will be positioned on a special test rig, each feeding a separate product into the same blisterpack. However, for most applications the company can devise customised changepart tooling and a split hopper that will enable multi-product feeding using just one feeder. 'Multi-product blisterpacks are increasingly common, and devising ways to fill these efficiently is part of our solutions-based approach,' said Electro-mec's technical sales director Ron Garwood.
