UniFlux for downstream filtration

Amersham Biosciences has launched UniFlux, the company's first suite of bioprocess membrane separations systems. It is available in two versions: an automated system, powered by UNICORN software and designed to control and respond to process events automatically; and the Windows-based PC data logging version for hands-on control.

While UniFlux was created specifically to manage the membrane separations process, the software provides a single interface for the control and monitoring of both membrane and chromatography systems, Amersham says. This can increase efficiency and reduce system costs compared with systems where these are not under unified control.
