Website launched for potential biotech investors

A website designed to help the City of London investment community understand key and emerging areas of science and technology and thus evaluate the potential of products generated has been launched by HCC De Facto in conjunction with Biotechnology Investment Today.

The 'Science in the City' website, to be found at www.investinbiotech.com/scienceinthecity, contains information about lunchtime briefings and includes details about the events, past and future, together with speaker profiles and downloadable presentations.

David Dible, Director of Corporate and Financial PR at HCC De Facto,said: 'Investors require detailed knowledge of the science that underlies a company's technology platform in order to make appropriate investment decisions.

'Science in the City is an ideal vehicle for biotechnology and life science companies to introduce their science to the financial community, and also provides them with an informal platform to meet potential investors.'
