Weighing system provides delight for Turkish firm

Turkey's leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, Eczacibasi Pharmaceuticals, has contracted Werum Software & Systems to deliver a weighing solution based on Werum's PAS-WD product.


Turkey's leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, Eczacibasi Pharmaceuticals, has contracted Werum Software & Systems to deliver a weighing solution based on Werum's PAS-WD product.

The weighing system is for pharmaceutical solids, liquids and semi-solids in Eczacibasi's plant in Lueleburgaz, where the company produces pharmaceuticals, veterinary products and cosmetics to cGMP standards.

The system will electronically handle the master batch records for weighing and dispensing and execute them in paperless fashion by means of Electronic Batch Recording. Master data, order data and consumption messages will be exchanged with SAP via a bidirectional interface. If required, paperless operation can be easily expanded to other production areas.
