Welch adds dry pumps

Welch has developed a range of four standard-duty dry vacuum pumps for aqueous aspiration and drying applications. The pumps are available from ASF Thomas and are built around Wob-L piston designs.

Smaller and lighter than oil-sealed rotary designs, the pumps offer the added advantages of dry operation and higher pumping throughput. They provide ultimate pressures from 10mbar to 80mbar and free flows up to 201l/min. The designs also provide a more compact package than diaphragm pumps, with the smallest pump in the range typically half the size of a diaphragm pump designed for the same duty.
