Yokogawa takes to the road

A customised, self-contained articulated lorry took to the roads in the UK in April and May to enable customers of process automation systems company Yokogawa to see at first hand the latest in Fieldbus integration, flow and transmitter technology and safety systems. The truck measures 16.5x2.6x4m on the road and expands to 17x9x7m on site.

'This engineer-to-engineer forum connects customers directly with Yokogawa engineering experts who are available to answer questions relating to existing or planned applications,' said Martin Ward, managing director of Yokogawa UK. 'It reinforces our determination to be the supplier of choice for quality process control instrumentation products and automation solutions.
