The centre will allow ystral's customers to test its technologies, as well as perform method and product development

Pharmaceutical manufacturing solutions provider ystral is investing €1.8m into a new validation centre in Ballrechten-Dottingen, Germany.

The centre is dedicated to testing, and has the capacity to deal with flammable or explosive media.

Accoridng to ystral, the centre will allow the company to carry out more tests than before and further improve the testing conditions for its customers.

ystral also offers customers the opportunity to follow the testing process remotely via livestream.

The new validation centre expands ystral's testing capacities, as the existing application technology centre and a development laboratory have reached their capacity limits.

"The construction of the new validation centre is a major step in the history of our company, as it's the place we can come together with our customers," says Peter Manke, Managing Director and co-owner of ystral.

The new building will allow production companies to test ystral technologies, as well as train their operating personnel on ystal machines.

The testing facilities will also be available to clients for method and product development.

Samples can be examined at the validation centre too, with both density measurement and particle size analysis with dynamic light scattering services avaialble.

The validation centre is scheduled for completion by the end of October.
