'Recently, we have been hearing of rumors regarding the sale of Zambon Group to others: these are absolutely not grounded,' said Margherita Zambon. 'This is true for both the pharmaceutical business unit and the fine chemicals business unit of our company.
In the last two years, important investments have been made in the fine chemicals business unit, she stressed, with the opening of the Barcelona development centre, the laboratories for biotech r&d in Bresso near Milan, and the establishment of Zambon India in Delhi.
'No contacts or negotiations with anybody have been made or kept neither in the past nor recently. And there is no intention to consider that even in the future,' added Elena Zambon.
