Zinsser Analytic has begun distributing peptide synthesisers manufactured by US-based CS Bio in the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France.

Zinsser's complete line of fully automated peptide synthesisers now includes systems for research (0.2 to 5.0g resin), industry (0.5 to 500g resin) and manufacturing (50g to 40kg resin), as well as synthesisers that produce peptides suitable for tBoc, Fmoc, DCC or HBTU chemistry.

All systems include a liquid handling system that is completely resistant to solvents; special mixing technology that guarantees efficient resin and solvent mixing, and are controlled by user-friendly software that documents each step at the correct time.

Zinsser recommends the multiple peptide synthesiser CS336 for immunologists using peptides for antibody production or screenings. A multi-channel system, it can make up to three peptides (0.05 to 0.25nmol) simultaneously, with each reactor using up to 36 amino acids.
