DKSH’s Business Unit Performance Materials, a distributor of speciality chemicals, has nominated Mathias Greger to head its North American operation. Greger has already been working with Switzerland-based DKSH, leading the in-house consulting team in Kuala Lumpur. Prior to joining DKSH, he worked for the chemicals division of Mitsui & Co, where he was in charge of sales and business development in Central and Eastern Europe.
In his new role, Greger will focus on growth in the North American market by acquiring new suppliers, strengthening relationships with key suppliers, and expanding the customer base in the speciality chemicals and personal care industries.
DKSH North America is headquartered in Mount Arlington, New Jersey. Besides marketing and sales offices, the company also runs a dedicated application and formulation laboratory there to support the personal care business with formulation development, innovative applications, and new technology evaluations.
