Dot Compliance upgrades AI-powered life sciences eQMS system, Dottie AI

Published: 2-Jan-2025

The system utilises generative and predictive AI to streamline and optimise the quality management process for customers in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries

Dot Compliance has upgraded its flagship life sciences eQMS solution, Dottie AI.

Through the system's novel update, companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries can utilise it to obtain intelligent insights and recommendations to facilitate effective quality management and regulatory adherence.

Dot Compliance has also installed enhanced tools for anomaly detection and regulatory risk mitigation through this upgrade.

The platform combines the expertise of life science professionals with AI technology, allowing users to create a personal quality guide which has been trained on quality and compliance workflows.

Designed to ensure the accessibility of quality management and compliance accessible to all, Dot Compliance's Dottie AI can reduce the cost of quality management, while also streamlining the process.

This is the third upgrade to the technology since its launch in April 2023, with hundreds of life science organisations currently using it to bolster their quality and compliance workflows.

According to Dot Compliance, the system is suitable for companies in any stage of the digitisation process — whether they have never used an eQMS or they are already managing multiple systems.

Customers are also encouraged to proactively flag regulatory risks, while also detecting anomalies in large datasets and monitoring data against reference scenarios.

Doron Sitbon, Founder and CEO of Dot Compliance, said: “As the first to market with AI-powered compliance and quality solutions for the life sciences industry, Dot Compliance is thrilled to introduce the third generation of our AI capabilities."

"We continue to invest and set the standard in our industry with solutions that ensure any company of any size can be up and running quickly with the safe, reliable insights and decision guidance they need to drive quality efficiently. We are proud that our trusted solutions have become part of organisational knowledge as we help our clients analyse patterns of behaviour to create measurable efficiencies and synergies.”

Sitbon added: “Most of the processes we will see emerge in 2025 will be much more agent process-oriented. AI will shift to multistage processes driven by intelligent agents, resulting in greater complexity. To succeed, business leaders must cultivate a data-driven culture, scale capabilities, train teams, and ensure decisions are guided by accurate, analysed data.”

This system upgrade follows Dot Compliance's acquisition of USD $17.5m worth of series B extension funding, which was awarded to the company in April 2024.
