EC approves H1N1 dosages

The European Commission has authorised single dose regimes for the swine flu H1N1 vaccines Focetria and Pandemrix for adults aged 18-60 years.


The European Commission has authorised single dose regimes for the swine flu H1N1 vaccines Focetria and Pandemrix for adults aged 18-60 years.

Children and adolescents aged nine upwards have been authorised single dose regimes for Focetria; and children and adolescents from 10 upwards plus elderly people aged above 60 for Pandemrix.

Prior to this declaration, the Commission had authorised two-dose vaccination schedules for Focetria, Pandemrix and Celvapan.
