Eli Lilly opts for Propack CTM software solution

Eli Lilly has chosen Propack Data's Clinical Trial Management solution to manage its clinical operations on a global basis. The roll out of the system takes place throughout 2001 and involves two locations: Indianapolis, IN, US and Mont-Saint-Guibert in Belgium.

Propack's PMX-CTM clinical trial management system helps manage a large amount of information and is designed to improve efficiency in the clinical production area. Specifically, the package provides broad functionality such as randomisation and just-in-time label printing, individual tracking of patient kits and lot genealogy.

It is scaleable to harmonise operations across multiple sites and support future growth. The key functions can be accessed over the web and it provides a unified mechanism to track and reconcile materials. It complies with cGMP and 21 CFR part 11 and offers easy deployment from a usr and validation point of view, through a single source supplier.

Lilly is receiving the next version, 3.2, of the PMX-CTM software. It is being developed in cooperation with three other major pharmaceutical companies and, according to Propack, establishes a de facto industry standard.
