With collaboration a key theme for outsourcing success, the BCMPA’s hospitality lounge will be a focus for retailers, brand owners and entrepreneurs looking for third-party manufacturers, packers and fulfilment partners to take their products to market.
More than 24 members are exhibiting at this year’s show, demonstrating their increasingly vital role in providing contract manufacturing, packing and fulfilment services to support brand owners.
Covering an extensive range of industrial sectors, including food & drink, nutraceuticals, personal care, household chemicals, general copacking and ecommerce and fulfilment, visitors will be able to talk to a range of trusted outsourcing experts.
The disruption in the supply chain during the past few years has confirmed the reliance by brand owners on their outsourced third-party manufacturers, packers, fulfilment and logistics suppliers.
From new product development, pack design, filling, contract packing and white/private label products, through to an extensive range of storage and ecommerce and fulfilment services for those customers requiring a one-stop shop, members will be on hand to provide bespoke and effective solutions for visitors.
Guests will also be able to watch a live demonstration on the BCMPA Hospitality Stand in the afternoon on both days, showing the Association’s extensive online search facility and explaining how to find third party outsourcing partners from its 200 plus members.
In addition, BCMPA CEO Emma Verkaik is contributing to a speaker panel titled: "The Value of Collaboration as an External Supply Chain Partner," alongside Thomas Verbeke from Danone and Michael Briggs of Marsden Packaging.
Taking place at 11.00 on the second day of the show, the panel, moderated by software provider Nulogy’s Chief Commercial Officer, Josephine Coombe, will showcase the benefits of partnerships in the external supply chain and discuss the ways in which collaboration remains key to the success for brands and retailers.
Verkaik said: “Collaboration is at the heart of what we do at the BCMPA; the Contract Pack and Fulfilment Show at Packaging Innovations & Empack is the ideal platform for us to share the extensive knowledge and expertise of our members."
“From sourcing and packing to the quality accreditations required to deliver goods, visitors can find the perfect partner to allow them to focus on building their brands and selling their products whilst leaving the day-to-day operational issues to the experts.”
Packaging Innovations & Empack is one of the pre-eminent events in the UK packaging industry’s calendar and this year’s show is a must-see for all industry professionals, with more than 300 exhibitors and more than 30 free-to-attend sessions, panels and interviews.
