Synergy Health Applied Sterilisation Technologies (AST) will be exhibiting at Medica 2015 in Düsseldorf, Germany between 16–19 November.
The award-winning global service provider has recently announced the European phase of its global expansion plans. The leadership team has given specific attention to supply chain innovation and in order meet demand, AST has invested more than £18m in site expansions in Gamma, Electron beam, Ethylene Oxide and pharmaceutical laboratories. Increased Gamma capacity will be available in Ede (the Netherlands) and Bradford (UK). Radeberg (Germany) will benefit from expansions in both Gamma and Electron beam in addition to an enlargement of the warehouse.
As the European medical device industry continues to lead with innovate products, Synergy Health has made specific investments in research and development to support that innovation. A new R&D Gamma testing irradiator has been installed in Marcoule (France) using a design uniquely capable of providing highly specific doses.
EO expansions have taken place in Velka Bites (Czech Republic) with a fourth line and secondary degassing chamber. EO expansions are also present in Michalovce (Slovakia) in the form of an additional line and pre-conditioning chamber.
A new pharmaceutical laboratory is under construction in Radeberg in addition to the expansion of the laboratory in Seriate (Italy), both of which will strengthen the regional network.
With all technologies and laboratories fully supported by a comprehensive training programme, Synergy Health is equipped to meet the key needs of the medical device industry.
