A leader in market-driven innovation and world famous for its proven, science-based solutions, DuPont Personal protection will be exhibiting on Stand 86 at this year’s Health and Safety North to be held from 9-10 October at Bolton Arena in the UK. Both new and existing products will be on display, including the renowned Tyvek Classic Xpert disposable coverall, the new FallX fall arrest coverall and a range of arc flash protective solutions using Nomex.
Tyvek Classic Xpert incorporates a unique design that offers an exceptional level of wearer and process protection. Resisting 99.2% of dust and three times more liquid than its predecessor, it is one of the best coveralls in the Type 5/6 category. The coverall is also surprisingly lightweight and durable, allowing for maximum wearer comfort.
Visitors to the stand will also be able to see the ProShield FR, a disposable hooded protective coverall made from a flame-retardant, non-woven fabric that provides protection for re-usable flame-resistant garments worn underneath.
The Floeire FallX fall arrest coverall with Nomex is the most recent addition to the product range and incorporates both a harness and a heat and flame resistant coverall in one easy solution. In addition to these properties, the whole suit will absorb the force of a fall and thus reduce wearer injury. The complete FallX fall arrest suit weighs approximately 1.5kg and is a lightweight, comfortable solution when working at height.

DuPont and DaleTechniche in the DuPont Nomex Partner Programme along with specialist distributor J & K Ross have combined expertise to develop an extensive range of arc flash protective solutions. A variety of products from the range will be displayed including long coats, bib and cargo trousers, hoods, coveralls and polo shirts using innovative arc flash protective fabrics and the Paulson arc flash visor with Nomex chin seal.
DuPont’s personal protection range is broad and to help make choosing protection easier, Neil Sutherland, Regional Account Manager at DuPont, will also be presenting two seminar sessions on ‘Is Your Chemical Protective Clothing Really Protecting You?’.
