Coating system offers moisture protection, low tack and high-film strength


Colorcon introduced a performance film coating system, Opadry 200, which is made from a combination of polymers and is said to improve performance while reducing costs.

Colorcon’s director, Global Regulatory Affairs, EMEA, Carl Mroz said at CPhI that the product offers moisture protection, low tack, high-film strength and immediate release that will help cut manufacturing time.

Opadry 200 systems are designed using ingredients that meet the regional and/or global regulatory requirements of the user when developing NCE, OTC or generic products.
