Portable probe measures dewpoint temperature

A new portable meter and probe provides fast and accurate measurement of dewpoint temperature in compressed air lines and other dry gas systems. The Vaisala DM70 has a robust hand-held meter and graphical LCD display and can function as a data-logger. Optional software provides an interface to a PC.

The Vaisala Drycap sensor technology used in the DM70 probe is said to provide good long-term stability, with an accuracy range from -60 to +60°C. It withstands condensation and responds rapidly to moisture change. The probe head can be connected into pressurised processes via an optional sampling cell or quick-connector.
