Systech expands serialisation centre at European hq
Provides testing area, demonstration space and training facility
Systech International, a global leader in serialisation based in Cranbury, NJ, US, has opened a Serialisation Centre at its European headquarters in Brussels. The new space will provide a comprehensive testing/staging area, demonstration space and training facility for pharmaceutical manufacturers who are implementing serialisation initiatives.
‘Clearly the serialisation demand is growing as the pharmaceutical industry moves from awareness to adoption,’ said Frederic Menardo, general manager, Systech International Europe. ‘We are gearing up capacity to meet the demand and training our internal teams, our customers and our channel partners require. This dedicated Serialisation Centre is another way we are preparing for the diverse regulatory requirements ahead.’
For Systech customers and partners who are exploring serialisation options, the centre is where they can see live demonstrations of Systech solutions implemented with major OEMs on working packaging lines. For those who are in the pilot, hybrid-line (serialised and non-serialised lines), multi-site or maintenance and change management phase (established lines), the centre is a testing and configuration environment.
The firm says the Serialisation Centre will play a key role in the final phases of serialisation implementation as a proof of concept for the configuration to prepare for a flawless Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) before installation. This is a critical step to pre-certify a solution by simulating all the data exchange and information flow in a serialised packaging environment when using Systech Serialised Product Tracking (SPT).
Menardo added: ‘We are happy to be able to offer our European customers and partner network this level of training and testing services. Flawless execution is our goal for our solution, and this testing simulation prior to installation can help us reach that goal.’
