Hosokawa Micron has introduced small-sized Universal Mikro-Pulverisers to meet demands for multi-purpose usage, simplicity of operation and accessibility during processing and maintenance.

Specially designed for the pharmaceutical, food and speciality chemical industries, the new machine features interchangeable multiple grinding mechanisms for unlimited flexibility on final particle size and particle size distribution. These include a knife type rotor operated at low to mid range speeds for milling granular products, a Mikro impact hammer and screen assembly for production of finer materials down to 50 microns and a pin disc design capable of producing products down to 25 micron.

Based on one of Hosokawa Micron’s most successful mill designs, the Universal Mikro-Pulveriser is available in three sizes for throughputs from less than 45kg/hr to 907kg/hr.

It also features a fabricated housing with a hinged door and tri-clamp closure mechanism for quick and easy access.

Multiple feed and collection options further enhance flexibility. All mills can be incorporated into bunker style, once through, closed loop or inert system designs.
