The average pharmaceutical plant generates vast quantities (terabytes) of data daily. However, having these facts and figures isn’t the same as being able to use them.

With this information often generated from a variety of disparate systems — including the MES, QMS, LIMS and data historians, to name a few — the result is a complex and scattered data landscape that cannot be leveraged to steer ongoing continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

This begs the question: how can this ocean of data be turned into something actionable?
