Yusen Logistics has appointed Gilbert den Bekker as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Europe Region, effective September 1, 2026.
In his new role, den Bekker will focus on driving commercial growth across Europe, working closely with Yusen Logistics' European clusters and the Global Strategic Sales Management organisation.
He will also support the commercial activities of the company's acquired Healthcare organisation and work together with Marketing to further strengthen Yusen Logistics' commercial brand and market position across Europe.
Den Bekker brings more than 30 years of international experience in the logistics industry, having held senior commercial leadership positions at country, regional and global level. His experience spans business development, sales, marketing and industry vertical management, as well as commercial integration and organisational transformation.
Throughout his career, den Bekker has worked across international markets and organisations, combining commercial development with a strong focus on customers, collaboration and sustainable business growth.

His appointment supports Yusen Logistics' continued focus on strengthening its commercial organisation and creating sustainable growth opportunities for customers across Europe.
