Female directors join biopharmaceutical board of directors
Two female members of staff at a biopharmaceutical firm in South Wales joined the company's board of directors.
Two female members of staff at a biopharmaceutical firm in South Wales joined the company's board of directors.
Fiona Withey, business development director and Rachel Fisher, operations director have both been promoted to the board of directors at Biotec Services International, where they will take on an active role in the future planning and direction of the company.
Withey joined Biotec in February 2007 following 10 years experience in various business development roles within the healthcare industry. And Fisher joined Biotec in 2004, following roles as a development scientist, technical support scientist and product support specialist at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics.
Marc Weinzweig, managing director of Biotec Services International said, "Both Fiona and Rachel have been instrumental in the growth of the business over the past year.
"Both ladies are hugely ambitious and hard working and have taken a proactive approach to new business development. From this basis, Biotec is in a strong market position to continue to grow and to cement our position as one of the leaders in the sector."
