Qureight opens London site to expand AI-powered imaging services for clinical trials

Healthtech company Qureight has opened a second UK site in London as it expands its AI imaging platform and recruitment, with a new 3D chest Foundation Model supporting growth into asthma, pulmonary hypertension, bronchiectasis and drug-induced lung toxicity

Data analytics company Qureight has announced the opening of its second site, a new office space in London, UK.

The expansion will support ongoing recruitment and platform technology development to meet increasing demand for the healthtech firm's imaging CRO services across a broader range of chest diseases.

The news follows on from a successful $20m Series B financing in July led by Molten Ventures with participation from returning backers including Hargreave Hale AIM VCT, XTX Ventures, Guinness Ventures, Meltwind and Ascension.

Development will focus on the 3D chest Foundation Model and AI imaging laboratory.

The next-generation imaging platform will expand the company’s existing suite of compartment-specific imaging computed tomography biomarkers for fibrotic lung diseases, enabling the rapid development of new chest imaging biomarkers.

This forms part of Qureight's ongoing strategy to expand its market reach across key new therapeutic areas, including asthma, pulmonary hypertension, bronchiectasis and drug-induced lung toxicity.

The expansion into the second site, Qureight says, will enable rapid scaling of its commercial and clinical operations, integrating AI-powered imaging analysis into trials in high-demand therapeutic areas.

“Empowered by our end-to-end, regulatory-compliant, disease-agnostic clinical trials platform, Qureight is focused on redefining how lung and heart disease are tracked in clinical trials to accelerate the development of new therapies where there is high unmet medical need,” said Dr Muhunthan Thillai, co-founder and CEO, Qureight.

Establishing our second site in the UK accommodates expansion of our world-class team of ML engineers and data scientists.

"The development of our Foundation Model is key to enabling us to enter new markets and solidify our position as a leading imaging company."

Dr Rebecca Simmons, Chief Operating Officer, Qureight, added: “Opening Qureight’s new office in London is a significant milestone."

We selected London as the location for our second site to access an extensive pool of machine learning, commercial and clinical operations talent, who will complement our incredible workforce based at our headquarters in Cambridge.

"I look forward to welcoming new members to the team to support our ongoing mission to revolutionise clinical trials and accelerate drug development through our AI-powered solutions."
