IMA in freeze-drying equipment alliance with Telstar Group
Manufacturer of automatic packaging machines, IMA has concluded a joint venture with the Spanish group Telstar. As a result, IMA will acquire 50% of a Spanish company, newly incorporated into Telstar and which is active in the field of freeze-drying machinery for the pharmaceutical industry.

IMA will put capital into IMA-Telstar equal to the value of the assets contributed by Telstar which have been assessed at around e11m. Telstar's freeze-drying machinery business had sales of Euro 16m in 2004.
